These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Payzeno platform, including the website payzeno.io, the merchant application app.payzeno.io, the API api.payzeno.io and checkout checkout.payzeno.io (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Payzeno. By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms.
1. Eligibility and account
To use the Service as a merchant, you must have legal capacity to enter into contracts and provide accurate information during registration and verification (KYC). You are responsible for keeping credentials, API keys and webhook secrets secure.
2. Payment services
Payzeno acts as a technology payment intermediary, enabling you to accept payments through gateways active on your account (e.g. M-Pesa, e-Mola, card). Method availability depends on your region, account verification and gateway activation.
We do not guarantee approval of all transactions; payment operator and bank decisions are independent of Payzeno.
3. Fees and balance
The per-transaction fee shown at payzeno.io/fees at the time of confirmed payment applies. Net balance is available in the dashboard according to settlement and withdrawal rules. Withdrawals are subject to identity verification and operational limits.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service for illegal activities, fraud, money laundering, sale of prohibited goods or services, or any use that violates applicable laws in Mozambique or the end customer's jurisdiction.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose operational or compliance risk.
5. Integrations and API
Use of the REST API, webhooks, plugins (WooCommerce, WHMCS, etc.) and hosted checkout must follow published documentation. You are responsible for correct implementation in your system and protection of API keys.
6. Data and privacy
Personal data processing is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you also accept that policy.
7. Availability and changes
We strive to keep the Service available, but maintenance or outages may occur. We may update features, fees (with reasonable notice where applicable) and these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in the dashboard.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Payzeno is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or damages resulting from third-party unavailability (mobile operators, banks, internet). Our total liability, where applicable, is limited to fees paid in the last three months relating to the transaction in question.
9. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mozambique, unless mandatory provision dictates otherwise. Questions about these Terms: ola@payzeno.io or the contact form.
